Horror Comics, this cautionary tale examines life through the eyes of Death who gets derailed when an impatient single Mom carelessly mistakes the scythe-carrying cloaked one for her tardy babysitter and leaves Death to care for her precocious 9-year-old daughter.

REGIONAL PREMIERE: Don McKay, a high school janitor who leaves his hometown after a tragedy, returns 25 years later to rekindle a romance with his old flame, who is dying of cancer, but this homecoming brings McKay more than he bargained for.

“Do You Doula” discusses the role of doulas and the importance of doula support during childbirth in a very moving way.

REGIONAL PREMIERE: After Richard finds out that his best and only friend, a dwarf hamster named Etienne, has terminal cancer, he decides to take his pocket pet on a bicycle road trip to show him the world before he has to put him to sleep.

Evelyn, a teen-aged girl who is committed to a married man plans on giving up everything for him. However, after her Christian mother finds out Evelyn's secret, she reproaches Evelyn for her looseness in life. Evelyn turns to the married man but is harshly rejected. At last, she decides to take revenge on him.

REGIONAL PREMIERE: In a quiet suburban community on Halloween night, a seemingly friendly neighbor grabs a little girl dressed on as a fairy, but who tricked who?

As a part of OIFF's Family Event, a special presentation of "Dragon Hunters": Zoe is a little girl who believes in fairy tales. Not because she is naive, but because she likes fairy tales. So in order to help her uncle Lord Arnold get rid of a terrible dragon, Zoe decides she has to find some heroes. And when she meets Gwizdo and Lian-Chu--a couple of two-bit, fly-by-night dragon hunters--well what the heck, she decides that she's going to believe in them anyway!
