REGIONAL PREMIERE: Shattercane reveals a character who risks everything for an ideal. Eighteen-year old Jason must stake his claim to a life where freedom under an open sky also means being bound to the silent land. Jason's father gives him land from their family farm that Jason promises to take care of. When he tells his girlfriend Sarah the good news, he consummates their relationship in hopes of marriage. But when Jason confesses a secret about himself to the youth minister that his family also soon discovers, his place on the farm is placed in question. Jason must prove to both himself and his family that he still belongs on the farm, even if it means a lifetime of sacrifice.
